This Privacy Policy explains how SELENE LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business through the Selene Noir brand (SELENE LLC, referred to here as we, us, or our), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use this website and our tarot-reading services.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, including your first name, email address, question or intention, selected cards, generated reading, traffic source, and marketing preference. We may also receive basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, timestamps, and security or error logs.

Please do not submit passwords, government identifiers, payment account details, medical records, or private information about another person.

How we use information

• To create, display, and email the reading you request.
• To enforce the one-free-reading limit and prevent abuse.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
• To respond to privacy, support, and legal requests.
• To send promotional email only when you separately choose to receive it. You may withdraw that choice at any time.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers to operate the service, including OpenAI for generating personalized text, Resend for email delivery, Supabase and Cloudflare for hosting, databases, security, and related infrastructure. They may process information only as needed to provide their services to us and subject to their applicable terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Retention

Full reading records, including the submitted question, are ordinarily removed from our operational database within 30 days. A one-way hash of the normalized email address may be retained for up to 24 months to enforce the free-reading limit without keeping the address in that database. Consent and compliance records may be retained as reasonably necessary to document your choices, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Security logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, or to opt out of promotional email. Submit a request through our privacy request page or email privacy@selenenoir.com. We may need to verify control of the email address before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

California disclosures

California residents may request information about the categories of personal information we collect and the parties to whom it is disclosed. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are commonly used in California privacy laws. Because we do not engage in such sale or sharing, there is no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out to apply through browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals at this time.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.

Age requirement

The service is intended only for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor submitted information, contact us so we can delete it.
